Bekah & Casey
5eleven | Pensacola, FL | 08.12.17
I’m m not even going to lie.
Jumping into the wedding industry is exciting, scary, and intimidating at the same time. Expectations run high and the day flies by so so fast that half the time you find yourself wondering, “Did I get the shot?”
Well Bekah and Casey couldn’t have made my first lead wedding photographer experience any smoother. Their whole laid back attitude throughout the entire day actually made it hard for me to part ways with them and their amazing family.
Their wedding ceremony and lunch reception was held at the beautiful 5eleven venue in Pensacola, FL and I must say – it is one of my absolute favorite event spaces in the area. The courtyard in the back is lined with green vines crawling up the walls, string lights, and the interiors exposed brick wall give the venue so much character – even Joanna Gaines would approve. And Bekah’s wedding dress… goodness it had me at hello. The two piece lace? YES YES YES! But as the girls were finishing their final touches with hair and makeup, I absolutely adored that Bekah made it a priority to stop and say a prayer with her sweet mother and sisters before walking down the isle.
While outside waiting for the bride and her father to turn the corner, I turned around and my heart stopped. A tear rolled down my cheek as I shot a photo of Casey feeling so overwhelmed with love and happiness waiting for his future wife.
Anyways, so you know that feeling you get when you meet genuine good people? Well Bekah, Casey and their families are exactly that.
Genuine. Good. People.
There wasn’t a moment that I didn’t feel comfortable and welcomed. Watching their family dynamic [with all the laughter, hugs, & tears] was so admirable. You can tell that they grew up with amazing families that showed them constant love and support. While not everyone is lucky enough to be as fortunate, you can tell that Bekah and Casey are aware of their blessings and will continue to share the same love they received
to each other and their own family.
