Kacee & Ethan | 11.04.17 | New Orleans, LA
Ethan stood at the balcony eagerly waiting to see his bride. He stood there with his smooth cut blue suit with his back facing me. Kacee walks out to the balcony slayyyying her long lace dress and sees her groom. He turns and that look. That look alone is the reason I encourage every bride and groom to entertain the thought of a first look. Its a look of pure love & joy that they get to share in solitude. It’s the look that had me realize the kind of love that Ethan has for Kacee. And at that moment – time stops. And it’s just the two of you. Not hundreds of people. Just you and him.
It’s priceless in my book.
But I have to say, Kacee & Ethan did it right. A relaxed wedding day with friends in tears from laughter and champagne flowing in the most remarkable city. Friends and family flew in from all over the country to watch them exchange nuptials and join in on the New Orleans tradition of a spunky & fun second line. I have to admit, when Kacee texted me asking to be her wedding photographer, I became a little giddy girl inside and I had every right to be. Their wedding day was one for the books for sure.
